Terms of service

The rules for using mdbin. By publishing a document, leaving a comment, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

mdbin is operated by forjed.io. Questions go to contact us.

The short version

Using the service

You may use mdbin without an account. Creating one is optional and gives you ownership of what you publish, a dashboard, and API keys for agents.

You must be at least 13 years old to use mdbin, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything published with your API keys. Keep them secret; you can revoke a key at any time from your settings.

diAIgram runs on a free allowance of credits. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be bought, transferred or redeemed, and we may change how they are granted or spent.

Acceptable use

This is the part that matters most. You may not use mdbin to publish, host, link to, or transmit any of the following.

Illegal content

Abuse of people

Abuse of the service

Using the AI assistant

diAIgram exists to turn a description into a diagram. Do not use it to generate content that would breach any rule above, and do not feed it confidential information or other people's personal data — see the privacy policy for why that matters and what we cannot promise about it.

Your content

You keep every right you already have in what you publish. We claim no ownership.

You do grant us the limited permission we need to actually run the service: to store your content, serve it to people who have the link, cache it, and show it in the interface. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies already in backups or caches, which age out.

You are responsible for having the right to publish what you publish. If it is not yours, don't put it here.

Moderation and enforcement

We may remove content or suspend an account at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe these terms have been breached. In practice we prefer to talk to people first — but for illegal content, and for anything that puts other users at risk, we will act immediately.

Report anything that breaks these rules using the abuse report form. You do not need an account to report something, and reports are read by a person.

If your account is suspended and you think we got it wrong, contact us and we will look again.

Availability, and what we don't promise

mdbin is provided free of charge and "as is". We do not promise that it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.

Keep your own copy of anything you care about. Documents can expire, be removed, or be lost to a fault. We take care, but we are not a backup service and you should not treat us as one.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Accounts and closure

You may stop using mdbin at any time. To close your account, contact us and we will do it.

Closing an account leaves published documents and comments in place but detaches them from you, so they become anonymous. Tell us if you want them removed as well and we will remove them.

We may close an account that has breached these terms, or one that has been inactive for a long period, after trying to reach you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell account holders by email and update the date at the top. Continuing to use mdbin after a change means you accept it — and if you do not accept it, stop using the service and ask us to close your account.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live.
