Sponsor mdbin
mdbin is free, takes no account to use, and carries no tracking. Sponsorship is what pays for it. In return your badge sits quietly beside Markdown that developers are already reading — release notes, runbooks, RFCs, architecture diagrams, a snippet pasted into a code review.
Who reads mdbin
People sharing documentation, diagrams and code with colleagues. They arrive from a link in a pull request, a chat thread or an issue, and they are reading rather than skimming. There is no feed, no infinite scroll and nothing competing for their attention — which is the whole reason a small badge works here at all.
What we will not do
mdbin is free, needs no account to publish, and keeps its authors anonymous by design. Sponsorship does not change any of that, and the way it is built is the guarantee.
- No tracking. No pixels, no beacons, no third-party ad network, no cookies set on your behalf. We cannot tell you who saw a badge, because we do not collect it.
- No JavaScript. A badge is an
<img>and a link. Nothing executes, and nothing can slow a reader's page down. - Nothing interrupting. No popups, no interstitials, no overlays, nothing that moves. A badge never sits inside the document body.
- Always labelled. Every placement is marked
Sponsored. Readers should never have to work out what is an advert.
The format
One static badge — your logo lockup, a single line of text and your domain. You supply two images, a light-theme and a dark-theme variant, so the badge sits correctly whichever theme the reader uses.
Badges render at most 32px tall on the homepage and 24px in a sidebar. A wider lockup lands shorter than the cap rather than being cropped, so your artwork is never distorted or cut off.
| Placement | Where it sits |
|---|---|
| Homepage | In a row beneath the feature sections. |
| Docs | A card under the "On this page" rail. |
| Documents | The same card beside a published document. |
